CT/ MRI Scanning Parameters:

CT/MRI scans that are taken for the purpose of 3D Printing should have following scan parameters or the closest approximation possible

• Image Reconstruction Matrix: 512 x 512 or higher (Isotropic)
• Slice thickness: 0.3 mm to 1.0 mm (As minimum as possible)
• Feed per Rotation: 1.0 mm
• Reconstructed Slice Increment: Less than or equal to slice thickness
• Reconstruction Algorithm: Standard
• Gantry Tilt: 0^o
